Smart Step Podiatry was founded in early 2026 by Rob Hesford, with a vision to bring expert biomechanical and general podiatric care to underserved regional areas.
We strive to deliver personalised treatment using the latest techniques and a patient-centered approach. Our mission is to improve foot health outcomes while fostering trust and accessibility throughout every community we serve.
Meet Our Team
Rob has been living and working in the Great Southern since 2013. With a deep commitment to patient care, Rob brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice. His focus is not just on treating foot ailments; he believes in the importance of understanding each patient’s unique circumstances to provide tailored treatment plans that enhance overall wellness.
Rob likes to keep fit and healthy and you'll often find him early in the morning at Middleton Beach either running, swimming or just enjoying the day. Rob is also an experienced martial artist and enjoys playing and coaching football (soccer) along with his wife and children.
